Coffee In The Balance-costa rica tarrazu ft/ra

BALANCED between North and South America, between the Carribean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, lies Costa Rica. Even the name of the country is balanced, rhythmic. We have sourced a new Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance certified Costa Rican coffee from the Tarrazu region which is equally balanced. The Tarrazu region is situated in the high interior mountains of Costa Rica in a climate blessed with volcanic soils and touched by moisture created by the rain forests below. The scrupulous processing of the beans with fresh water ensures a clean cup of coffee.

A clean cup is fairly boring, however, without some complexity. It’s kind of like dating someone with no personality. Life requires some sizzle and this coffee’s the shizzle. It draws you in with its’ aroma of cherries and red wine. It entertains you with its full body, rich acidity, delicious sweetness and smooth mouthfeel. Once you are intrigued, the party goes into overdrive with a finish of walnuts and chocolate, lingering well into the night, like a nutella party with a room full of beautiful Italian women. But that’s another story. . . . .

Although my stories may keep you off-balance, a cup of our Costa Rica Tarrazu will bring you back into alignment. True genius in coffee is in the balance. Al Gore claimed to know what it took to keep the “Earth in the Balance.” He also claimed to have invented the Internet. While I make no such claims, I do promise that if you elect me your coffee roaster I will deliver a balanced cup of coffee.
