Who is the Roastmaster?
Friends, Romans, Coffeedrinkers, lend me your ears.
For those of
you who do not know me yet, allow me to introduce myself. My name is
James Cadariu. Here at Espresso Source, International and the Great
Lakes Coffee Roasting Company my title is Roastmaster. What do I do?
Among other things, I am involved in:
- Coffee roasting, cupping and varietal development
- Product tasting and development
- Espresso equipment testing
- Espresso cupping
- Training and education in all aspects of coffee and equipment
- Menu creation
What is my background?
I am a licensed
attorney whose true passions are food and drink. I have trained in
Italy at Lavazza, Europe's largest coffee roaster, doing espresso
cuppings and analyses of coffee sourcing, blending and roasting. With
Cimbali, the Italian espresso machine manufacturer, I trained
extensively on the latest superautomatic technology. Having traveled
extensively in Europe and the US and being an amateur cook, I am
licensed to bring to you good taste in products for your coffee bar,
office or restaurant.
What can I do for you?
I want to serve
as a resource for our clients, a source of information about our
company and its' products, a link to our roasting room, a bridge to our
Italian partner companies and a sounding board for any ideas you might
have.

want to educate you, train you and respond to you through our
creativity, excellent products and professional service.
